I saw your Post on Audio Asylum and thought I could shed some light on your DCM question.I have owned 2 sets of DCM speakers. The first were the DCM 350s which I later upgraded to the DCM TF-600s. I also have Martin Logans and Spica TC -60s.
The DCMs are very good speakers and the older ones have a very good reputation, especially the TF-600's (see www.audioreview.com). I believe they were also used by Andrew Marshall of Audio Ideas Guide, a Canadian Audio publication, as his reference speakers for years. They are a transmission line speaker know for imaging, sound staging and midrange clarity. I have a review on them by A. Marshall.
How much are the TF-1000s?
I was going to sell either my SPICA's or my DCMs but think that I will use them for Home Theater as a number of people have used them and think they are great.
Regards,
Darrell
