very poor things to say about the model above the Trente (and he was looking forward to carrying the line). He feels that it is bright and that the sound is not well integrated across the freq. spectrum. I will have to go see for myself when I am able."

I would be interested in learning who the dealer is who had "very poor things to say about the model above the Trente . . . " Only four Reynaud dealers have had the Offrande on demo, and four Reynaud dealers have had the Evolution 3 on demo, all of whom opened the line and like both models very much.

Is it possible that these comments were made after the dealer listened to speakers which had not been broken in properly? I will admit that neither the Evolution 3 nor the Offrande achieve their optimum performance prior to 100-200 hours of break-in, so it is possible that if the dealer did make critical comments it was prior to the particular model having sufficient break-in time.

If you let me know where you are located, I can refer you to the nearest Reynaud dealer who has either the Offrande or Evolution 3 in stock so you can evaluate them for yourself.
