I dont think you are being factual. I'm sure there are some guys who'd prefer Diapasons over Sonus faber but to say that the majority of dealers in Europe and Asia are picking Diapason over SF is plain hyperbole. One can pick up any hifi magazine from any part of the world and one will see that there are simply more SF dealers than Diapason dealers. One can also pick up Hifi magazines all over the world and there are also more raves about Sonus faber than there is of Diapason. Plus SF-talk certainly outnumber Diapason-talk even here in AA.In fact, Diapason FAILED to take root here in the Philippines simply because Sonus fabers are so agressively priced (yes, in case you dont know, Sonus faber is about 50% cheaper outside the US) and are simply the better built speakers from the point of view of people who have put SF and Diapason together side by side. The disappointed local Diapason importer has since imported Opera and Aliante but even all these 3 brands put together cannot put a dent into Sonus faber sales. And no, people do not buy SF here because of my influence either hehehe.
Diapason DOES NOT surpass Sonus faber in terms of presence anywhere in Asia especially where it counts (Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore) and that is the truth. In your dreams maybe but that still remains a dream. :-)
PS I prefer the Preludes over the Adamantes btw.
