I purchased brass cones from Meniscus http://meniscusaudio.com/extra-points-p-208.html to attach under my Studio 100's. I am placing onto wooden floors. I purchased these because of the rounded tip instead of deadly sharp foot piercing spiked end for carpet. I noticed that the weight of the Studios causes the tips to indent the wooden floor. I was thinking about placing the round disc brass feet which come with the speakers, under the cones positioned into the threaded hole for spikes. Would this create problem in resonance? Or Would it be better to just use the round brass feet instead of the cone points?
Is there a better solution to protect the wooden floors?
