Your point on the ribbon is well taken, but for a cone driver to keep up with and blend with a ribbon in this way is totally new to me.
They are considerably more expensive than the others mentioned, so they can hardly be considered giant killers. They SHOULD be great for that $, and IMO they do deliver on what they promise.
I understand Bob Harley is writing a favorable review of them for TAS. Maybe then they won't be quite as unknown.
