Lots of speakers will reproduce 50Hz and lower accurately. I own 2 pair of speakers that will easily do this.
What speakers are you referring to in your assertion? I think the National Research Council Anechoic Chamber will quite easily measure accurately below 50Hz. It's one of the premier acoustical measuring facilities in the world.
