You may be talking about Altec 511 tower speakers.
They contained 2 10" woofers, 6.5" midbass, 2" upper mid and 1" tweeter.
They were internally triamped. Baby brother to the I believe 505 pent-amped tower.
If these are the 511's you are referring to (hope so as everyone said horns should be cheap), they are pretty good sounding speakers. Acoustic suspension so their bass will get quite deep for home theater. Require a good quality pre-amp input. I owned a pair for a quite a while. Pay close attention to their sound to make sure the amps have nothing amiss. Also they have foam surrounds so be prepared to replace them at this stage.
Parts are hard to find for them as they are not associated with the typical Altec Pro line.
