Well paid $25 for them and am using a Kenwood KR 710 receiver 20WPC, the speakers sound like shit with it ( I think that the speakers are rated @ a minimum 30WPC) perhaps that is the problem. I think that perhaps the receiver does not have enough power to run the speakers?

The speakers are very bassey w/ little trebble or midrange up top and they only come to life with the trebble turned up to the max. I believe that the crossovers are working correctly and all the speakers themselves are in great shape.

Or perhaps the problem is that I have the Fishers laid on there sides on some shelves that are quite high so the mid and tweeters are not facing you.

I will have to climb up and drag them down to check out..

If anyone is interested I think I will sell these for $25 if your in the Chicago area and go back to bookshelf speakers which I can mount much lower in the garage due to the size.
