Having owned several time and phase coherent speakers (Duntech, Vandersteen, Thiel), I found their sensitivity to placement to be good and bad. While they can simply be placed in a room and sound pretty good, their full potential will not be realized without careful placement. This includes all parameters - distance from the front wall, separation, distance from side walls, distance from prime listening seat, toe-in, and yes Craiger, tilt as well. The good news is after spending the time to find best placement, you should be rewarded with a pretty decent suggestion of a real musical event.
Growing old is hell related former youth.
