For me, the Easiest way is just to listen to the tweeter. BE certain YOUR hearing is up to the task; if you are getting on in age, your personnal hearing may not even hear the frequencies the tweeter reproduces. A youngster could listen for you. Often, an aged-out electro-chemical constructed Hi-Pass capacitor has failed preventing signal (or clean & strong signal) from reaching an otherwise good tweeter; replacing the capacitor solves the problem.
