Before, your speakers were taken for walks by a Corgi; understated in it's approach, composed and purposeful. Now your speakers have a red setter on the end of the leash and they are a little overwhelmed.

You have two choices - upgrade the speakers or change your amplifier. You don't have to go back to tube amplification to get satisfactory results, but your speakers are refined beauties and deserve something with more subtlety than amplification built for driving current-hungry speakers in large rooms.

I'd suggest trying a Sugden A21SE if you have a smaller room. Or going back to tubes with something like a Prima-Luna Dialogue 2. Otherwise, Naim's Supernait will likely prove to be a great partner for the GS10's, or the Naim Nait XS if you want to keep the price down a little.
