80 feet to speakers

I have a pair of Bose Freespace 51 speakers on my patio, about 80 feet from my Onkyo A/V reciever. As you may guess, my bass is nonexistant below about 70% volume on the auxiliary audio output I am using. I ran #10 AWG to the speakers from the ammp, larger gauge wire is not an option at this point.

Has anyone had a similar experience, or any recommendations for a solution to my problem? I am considering an EQ, but I'm not sure if I need passive, active, or what.
