i had tow pair and the standard "tweeter" in them was a bit deficient on top, rolling off it seemed at about 12k. i improved this by adding a philips clear plastic dome above 10k using a simple xover (cap and L-pad) in series.
it opened the top up so sweetly and even the bottom tightened up. i would have been interested then to try a drop in replacement so i didnt have to balance the tweeter on the front top edge of the a25s (stacked horizontally, tweets to the center, on stands).
the stock a25s never imaged correctly so i wonder if these drop ins improved that situation. but ahhhhhhh, that quad ES-like bass......... i had to reduce the quantity with a metrotec 5 band eq (no boost in the top, only cut in the lower two sliders).
eventually replaced with infinity monitor jrs.
