I've got good result with the VTL ST85 driving the Tempo IV that are more difficult to drive than the Spark IV. You should get very good result with your 100W monos. Yes, Audio Physic have a "house sound" as all the speakers in the world: wide soundtage, fast and clean/clear sound, not too much low frequency extension and punch. The Spark will shine in a small room, possibly far from the back wall and listened in the near field. They comes with very useful instructions on how to get the best sound. I use the Virgo III with the ST150 in a room less than 20 square meters and I'm quite happy!
