I have Vandersteen speakers. I think their whole product line gives great value at each price point. Naturarally, the higher you go in the line, the better they sound, but they are a complete speaker, and you should listen to them before your purchase. I also like Magnapans, but they are a midrange speaker that requires careful setup and head in the vise positioning. The soundstage is small, but the mids are wonderful. Also give a listen to Theil speakers. I find that there are few dealers to demonstrate them, but its worth seeking them out.
