I'm not sure where you are in the world, so whether or not they will be readilly available to you I'm not sure, but ATC do some fabulous bookshelf/standmount sized speakers. They all take a fare ammount of driving, but are quite amazing sound wise. They pack a massive and very well controlled punch for the size, are extremely detailed and create a very realistic soundstage with little added or taken away.. I've had my 20s for 9 years now and still find them very exciting, only problem with them is that they have a tendancy to pull bad recordings apart too much..
Consonance A120 Linear Amp & CDP, ATC SCM20SL Speakers, Denon TU260L mk2 Tuner, Nordost Solar Wind interconnects, Ecosse Reference MS2.15 Speaker cable, Atacama Equinox Supports, Target HM50 stands.
