When I was young I played violin in a string quartet and in a symphony orchestra. I played trumpet a couple of years & some acoustic guitar. My father played acoustic guitar. Music has always been an extremely important passion in my life. The natural reproduction of acoustic instruments and vocals should be the highest priority of a Hi-End Audio Designer, in my opinion. It is science and art in the pursuit of nature & emotion.
I have been to High End Audio shows in hotels in San Francisco, Los Angeles and in New York. When I come home I always enjoy and greatly appreciate my Harbeth Compact 7, Audible Illusions Modulus 3A, VTL Stereo 70, Linn LP12, Bel Canto DAC1.1 driven by Pioneer Elite PD65, all tied together with medium-line Kimber Kable. I have always enjoyed reading the audio magazines and thinking about something better, but I am seriously asking myself why. The tonality, timbre, harmonics, & timing of my system are natural and beautiful.
I cannot say enough positive about the Harbeths or my 15 year old VTL.
