I had gotten a Wharfedale Emerald center speaker on closeout for a very good price. I got it at Amazon for less than 200$ back then. The 8.2s I also got there for under 175. pair. I think I had gotten the last pair cuz one speaker arrived with the back corner edge slightly dented and they didn't have any left to exchange it with, so I kept it and they gave me a 20$ credit. You can get the Diamond 9 center channel speaker for about 225$.
