Integrating the sub with whatever you choose as amin speaker s will be both critical and time consuming - and may not offer you all the advantags you seek. Also, given that you're changing due to asthetic reason, would a sub really be all that welcome viually? The S6s and S8s are almost the same size, so the sub will make for one more box in your newly remodled room, and a square one at that.

Personally, given your priorities, I would go with the S8s and live without the wall shaking that the sub will/might offer in favor a more coherent overall sound

Oh, and if it really is only 10% of the time spent watching movie, of that 10%, how many movies that you watch REALLY have that much deep bass content? Another question to consider.
