Counting the number and size of drivers is not a very valid way of determining a valid selling price in my book. That's like counting the number of cylinders on a car to determine the price. Should a 6 cylinder BMW 5 series cost the same as a 6 cylinder Kia?

There are a lot of cost variables beyond the diameter of the woofer.

As a consumer, I'm all for low prices but I hardly count Harbeth, Spendor and similar companies as egregious examples of taking consumers to the cleaners. You've picked an odd candidate in Harbeth to complain about overpriced products in the world of audio.

To the extent that they've overpriced themselves in comparison to their competition, they'll pay for that in lost sales. At that point, they can either lower their price, change their product or just live with the reduced sales and hope they don't go out of business.
