I can't say too much about C7-3 since I really don't like it when I had the chances to audition it on several occasions; but if C7 floats your boat..great..

But to say 2-way monitor is not worth $3500 is gross overstatement, assuming your definition of 'worth' is the same as mine. I was able to compare Monitor30 with the likes of SF Gunnari and Dynaudio Confidence 2-way monitors..and let me tell you M30 did just fine...actually M30's male/femail vocal is consistently more musical and more enagaging than either....yes M30 is $5k but it's still a bargain compare to the $13k for SF.
