I once owned the JBL L100's and although they rocked, they weren't quite up to snuff in terms of transparency and resolution. Even so, I kind of regret selling 'em.

If you want speakers to sound like they have balls, better check your amp and make sure it's up to the task. I've found that even some smaller speakers "have balls" when coupled to a ballzy amp. ;-)
