If I could go to a store tonight and buy a new pair of Dahlquist DQ-12's, I would do it in a heartbeat.
I loved the 'spacious' sound of these speakers. They sounded great in small rooms. Had a wonderful, 3-dimensional soundstage.
Hell, if I could buy a new pair of DQ-8's I would. They were ugly, but sounded great for the money.
What's the skinny on anyone doing something like this anymore? My first thought is Nola, but a) the 'phased array' ones start at about five grand, and b) I emailed them asking for a dealer and never got a reply. Not so good, that.
