You described it perfectly I guees I am looking for a speaker that conveys emotion rather than gobbs of detail. I hear all the recs for Vanderstein, I have actually owned them at one time, but I just dont have room for them. My speakers sit on both sides of the fire place and are only able to be 6 ft. apart......thanks to all that responded...anyothers?.....DK
