Most audiophiles tend to change speakers instead of other components. I guess you have come down to "musically". There will be a lot of speakers out there can do certain departments or on every department better but they tend to rob the essence of musical. We all impressed by the ability of speaker to reveal more but they do this in the expense of others.
One British speaker that never fails to impress again and again is Harbeth HL5. Nothing fancy technically but the coherence of whole frequencies is a result of a well designed crossover.
Look for speakers that convey emotions. That is my opinion.
