I purchased Vandy 2ci's way back when and my search for speakers was over. I've changed everything- amps, cd players, turntables, cartridges, tonearms, tuners, etc since then, but the Vandersteens remain. They just sound 'right'. Had magneplanars, b&w's, Infinity, Dayton Wright, Apogee, diy and others before, but the vandersteens.......
