"Multiple smaller drivers generally outperform a single larger driver and sound much better in the upper midrange where definition and resolution makes for a more realistic sound reproduction."
RG replies:
How brilliant to recommend using the same drivers for all the bass AND upper midrange frequencies at the same time!
Can you spell "high intermodulation distortion"?
Yes of course the best speakers in the world use small drivers for all the bass through the upper midrange.
So it seems according to you, Mr. Gump, small-diameter driver two-way speakers have the best bass money can buy?
I suppose their bass under 40-50Hz. is so FAST that no one can even hear it?
And there's nothing like the midrange clarity of a cone driver that is simultaneously stroking long distances to reproduce bass frequencies?
I can't understand why any speaker designer would try to sell a three-way or four-way speaker design when a two way design is best for bass and everything else?
Three-way and four-way speakers should be cheaper than two-way speakers?
Every sentence in your post is incorrect.
Congratulations Mr. Gump.
