I played the cable upgrade for a while. It seemed like I was really just using them as tone control instruments. My new speakers sounded misty in the top end, so I would get Cardas cables to mellow them out.

I decided to get off the merry-go-round. I am sticking with copper cables that measure well and are terminated professionally (e.g. River Cable, Blue Jeans, etc.) I absolutely believe cables have an impact on the sound, but think money can be better spent on components and speakers.
