Ok being new to the site I have one question. Why are you using Cat 5 cable? 8 strands of wire per leg vs hundreds of strands of wire per leg? I know that the strands of cat 5 are bigger( 28 gauge I think?), But heres the big question I have does solid wire carry signal better than stranded? I am very knowledgeable about electricity. So lay it on me. Why is Cat 5 better than stranded wire?
