Which Small Sub to Mate with Maggies (MGMC1)

I have just set up a pair of Magnepan MGMC1 wall-mount speakers in my living room (about 20'x12') to use as a sound system for parties, background music, etc. They are pretty slick in that they fold flat against the wall when not in use - instant WAF. They are wired through the walls/floor into my main rig in the family room. Of course I need a sub with these small panels, and am currently using a DIY sub consisting of a Dayton 15" DVC in a 3 cu.ft. sealed box, with a 1000 watt plate amp. That sub kicks serious butt - I was using it in my HT system at my old house, but it has been replaced by a Zu sub in my main system.
Downside - this sub is HUGE, and although my wife is understanding, and loves the idea that it didn't cost us anything, I can tell that the size is bothering her; even I think it is out of place in the very nicely decorated living room. So here's the question: what smaller sub (8" or 10") would mate well with the Maggies, and blend into the decor more easily (i.e. have a much smaller footprint)? Any help is appreciated.
