I have a pair of D15's that I think from your description act the same way. It freaked me out the first time I saw the woofer move without the gold cone moving - it was when I played some St Germain that had some synthy mid bass. Funny, no other CD makes this happen. I guess I don't play it loud enough or have much music that challenges the ProAc drivers.
