TAD Aural Ersatz 805's--any owners of these or the older ones?

I am always checking out the eye candy on these on AgoN. Paul and I have interchanged a bit about their sound. Folks seem to like his stuff, incl. his amps.

I am asking because I constantly want to score a nice vintage speaker like a KLH 17 or Advent or AR 4x or EPI, yet am tempted by these China manufactured monitors. What would you do?
