B&W tweeter replacement (please comment thanks)

Hey inmates,
Another question. My friend has some B&W DM 610's which he loves. Thats great. I like them too. One little problem though one tweeter is dented in It's a metal tweeter and could be replaced for about $30 I have heard. My friend and I both agree that the tweeter have annoying metal ring to the sound. We could get more speakers but when you do A+B though it doesn't sound as good. So are there any tweeters that could fit in and work that don't have an annoying ring. What are our options. Please someone shed some light on this. Thanks all comments will be welcomed.
