Just a thought...but if you really want the Nightingales, I would call Klaus directly and ask his opinion on how they may/may not work with your Denon.
At your $1000 price point, you may even be able to find a used pair of nightingales on audiogon along with an Odyssey khartago to power them. Hook the khartago up to the denon preamp outs, and I'm sure you'd be very happy!!
