I have owned several pair of speakers in my life but they have all been purchased used or were the store's demo pair, therefore, all of them were broken in at the time of purchase. I just bought my first pair of new speakers and wanted to ask a question re: speaker break-in. I have heard and read that different speakers take different time intervals to break in. My speaker is the Usher Be-718 which is a two way monitor with a beryllium tweeter. The speaker sounds pretty good right out of the box, but bass is a bit pronounced and the top end is not as open as I would like at this time. What will I notice as hours of play time accumulates? Will the sound become fuller and smoother? Will the speakers disappear as a sound source? Which driver (tweeter or woofer) takes the least amount of time to reach its potential?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
