Dave, some years ago I had my 50s measured in room professionally by Black Box using an Audio Precision system. I'll try and find the book of responses that they supplied me with from the session. Of course my room measured like a roller coaster but I don't recall any peak such as the one that you have found. E-mail me at the weekend to remind me and I'll seek out the measurements to confirm this. BTW, have you changed the amp pack yet?
