RE: 1 port or 2 ports

I guess the argument could be made that dividing the required port volume between 2 ports would reduce the resonance of a single long port but as always, it is the skill of the designer that dictates the outcome of any speaker design.

The Wilson MAXX 2 which is a single port design in the bass bin has very articulated/musical bass but Wilson uses machined aluminum tubes for the ports which may have validity in it's seemingly excessiveness.

I myself am a IB/AS guy with nods to TL's but there are only a few reflex designs that don't sound slow and turgid to me.
