what speakers should I get.

Dear Inmates,


I'm a teenager wondering what to get. I love music and have very low budget.
I'm looking for something good for price reasons and I haven't trained ears yet. Here are my basic choices since I'm going cheap. A friend is going to give me a pair of floor standers. (My dad's business partner)He is giving them to me because he doesn't use them. Knowing him they'll probably be good. I'm getting a small home theater sub woofer that's $5 on craigs list. I don't know what brand it is but for $5 dollars a working sub heck why not.
The only reason it's $5 dollars is, because the guy was selling a 5.1 home theater system with sub for $20 and I asked if I could have the sub for $5.


Know here's my question what should I get? Here's what I found that looks interesting. If there's anything in my price range that you think is good please tell me.

Here's the first one a bit more expensive than what i was hoping for because I have about $50. and I'm thinking to get 2pairs of monitors $20-$25.

Dimensions are 14.75" wide, 9.5" deep, and 29" high.
frequency resp. - 28-20,000 hz,

Here's the next pair they are sorta in my price range.

Mission Model 707 Bookshelf Speakers.
$40
good condition. Just one slight dent in 7'woofer

Here's the next pair; I like the price of these.

Fisher Floor Standing Speakers

Grills and cabinets are in great condition.

Max 50 watts
$25
10" woofer
5" midrange
3" diameter

Well not much, but tell me what you think. I'll accept any help or advice offered. I live in MN in the Anoka area. My dad doesn't want to drive to far. Also has anybody heard of Sansui what do you think of them?
