The BAT is 75WPC and you could certainly put more into them if you had it. It depends on how loud you like to listen. The BAT's will run warm for sure even at idle. As to set up the link the other poster gave is good. Realize thought that every room is different and your results may vary. Play around a little and see what sounds best to your ear. Magneplanars are not efficient (86db) and these are lightest on the bass side. If you like bass consider an amplifies sub to go with them. Good luck!
