But I've experimented with different kinds of stripped wire. Any thing will sound better than those broad, coated jumpers. I've had wire jumpers using bananas they made sound slightly veiled. Currently, I'm using 16ga solid sliver (hard). You can vary between copper, silver (of varying hardness) or whatever at different gages to get the desired effect.
