Somebody correct if I'm wrong but here is a quick calculation:
92dB of gain give a input/output ratio of 39800 to 1. (google 'dB calculator).
This means that 0.00025V become 9.95V after 92dB of gain is applied.9.95V into an 8 Ohm load should be about 12.5 Watts.
Which means that at this point your 8w amp is distorting horribly, regardless of dBSPL achieved.
This by the way should be about 105 at 1m with a more powerful amp. Or about 99dBSPL at 2m.
