Refoam. That woofer was specially designed to do what it needs to do without any crossover necessary. You can check the humanspeakers site for more info. Epi woofers are among the easiest to refoam, do a search in the Vintage Asylum for lots of refoaming tips. If you are a refoming novice, you could probably get refoaming kits for around $20-30 per speaker. If you know what you are doing you can buy generic 8" foam edge replacements from matelectronics.com for around .99cents each...
Those are sought-after speakers among EPI fans...
