Double Advent question

I've finally acquired two working pairs of The Advent Loudspeaker (large Advents) and wanted to try them together. What's the best configuration: vertical side-by-side, vertical stacked (to make towers), or horizontal stacked? Also, any special precaution to avoid blowing the tweeters? I'll probably hook these up to A+B speaker setting.
