What is the minimum distance should Merlin TSM away from a TV?

Hi,
I have a 35" conventional tv placed 45 degree at the corner of the living room , and my audio gears on its right. The left speaker of Polk Lsi 9 is just a foot away from tv. I.m planning to buy the TSM but since it's not magnetically shielded it might create problem.
