Your query will garner much more attention if U post this in the Vintage Asylum.
Way back many years ago, I used to have a pair of Stephens 12" fullrange speakers that I let a friend borrow which he promptly blew them up! Argh!!!
Wish I had kept 'em and had them rebuilt but I was not aware one could do that back then and they got tossed :-(
