Thanks for your comments Bobby, I must confess that I did not look at Mikey accompanying reviews until you mentioned them. Nevertheless, he states that the VSM-MX "offered airy, ultradetailed, grain-free high frequencies and electrostatic-like resolution", which more or less concurs with what I said the post and what one will expect from FR plots such as VSM-MX's.
