Which speakers has a more balanced sound? I dislike very much thin sounding speakers that emphasize midrange and high frequencies. My room is just 12 X 13 X 8 feet

My amps Quad 909 and McIntosh 2102(tube amp)
Preamp is a Prometheous TVC
and Thorens 165 turntable connected to a Wright 200 phone preamp
