I believe the tweeter is a 3/4" Scanspeak which was very highly regarded in its day so long as it wasn't used too low(D2008 or D2010, one of these 2 models). A friend designed with it and liked it very much. I know Linn used it for a tome and then switched to Hiquphon, a similar tweeter by the same designer, variations of which are still being made. Bud Fried loved the Hiquphon.

I recall Stereophile did a review years ago by Gordon Holt. He basically liked it as I recall. He always liked the sound of the 3" ATC dome used as the mid and still does. You might check the Stereophile archives. The woofer was made by another British company, Volt, I believe and had a good rep.
