Tyler Signature Monitors vs . Von Schweikert VR-2 or VS-4 Jr.

I periodically see Von Schweikert speakers for sale or trade up here in Canada .From what I hear both the models mentioned above have tons of bass plus are very accurate in the mids & highs. I really like my Tyler Signature Monitors but try as I may can not get a decent amount of bass out of them. The bass that is there is very fast & clean like the rest of the speakers howeverr compared to my JMLabs speakers the Cobalt 816 & other similar speakers, I have had they just do not produce much below 50 Hz to my ear in my room .i have tried putting them 2 feet and less from the back wall which would normally overload my room with mid bass on every other speaker i have had there.Thus I am asking if any one has compared these two VS models to the Tyler sig mons as they fall between the price range of these two speakers.
