Hi all from vinyl land...
I have 2 rooms of speakers (living and kitchen), active subs in each, 1 4-way speaker switch, and 1 NAD 3020. All speakers are 4 ohm. How should I be wiring this? I'm currently using the big living rm sub with the NAD's preamp loop, but it was recently suggested to me that I try using discrete channels of the selector for the sub and mains (so using speaker inputs on the sub). The kitchen setup is one channel of the selector into an outboard passive crossover, then to sub and sats. I could in theory run an additional pair of wires to the kitchen and do the 2-switch thing in there too, though this sub doesn't appear to have an adjustable crossover...
